Tucson, AZ. "6913th, Jan 90-Feb 91. I had a great time in Augsburg and I'm glad to see that so many still remember the place. I was there virtually until we turned off the lights in the 6913th. I'd like to hear from anyone that remembers me or that time. Anyone except Bob Babick (I see him too much as it is) or PC Prokopchuk (that retiree is on base enough as it is). Just
kidding."

Best damn assignment I ever had, really miss those comfy sword deplyments. I retrained as an F-15 systems specialist after leaving Augsburg and have flip-flopped from one career to another. I am currently assigned to the 314th TRS Fort Huachuca Az. I am the Air Force Liaison and chief of Technical Training for the A.F. All of the services conduct Morse Cryptologic training here now. Hung around with Tony Cheverette, Tim Kenyon and others... was an awful subordinate for Roger Stilgenbauer (I think I helped with his hair loss). Roomed with Ken Larsen in the dorm at Flak (until his electric fan caught fire!), then Greg Papich, an MP. Left Augsburg and went to Tucson (married my hometown sweetheart), then to DLI for intermediate Czech. Went back to Augsburg in 89, again working in 3CCX (I think on Baker flight... geez, the memory goes fast!). Moved off of flight work to take Dave Pacek's place as the 3CCX analyst, working for SMSGT Pugh and with Jim McMenamy (who was my Goodfellow instructor). Helped close down the 6913th and left for CONUS in April of 91. Although I didn't care for the military aspect of the job, I really miss doing the 3CCX work, and working with a great gang of people... from the Trivial Pursuit and Nuclear War games in the watch office on mids (I still use the term
"bleeding" when staying up very late) to the church family at the Christian Serviceman's Center in Neusass. I hope God has blessed each and every one of you in your lives after the Black Cat Squadron. And finally, WHAT ABOUT A REUNION, FOR CRYING OUT
